David Rowe practices in the areas of business law, tax law, and estate planning. He has experience representing business owners in all phases of the life cycle of a business, from formation to sale or other ownership transitions. David also enjoys helping families engage in thorough estate planning to provide peace of mind and protection for future generations.

David is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the United States Tax Court.  He graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2002.  David serves on the Executive Board of the North Georgia Jaycees Charitable Fund and he is a member of WealthCounsel, a collaborative group of more than 2,500 estate planning attorneys nationwide. WealthCounsel is an industry leader in continuing education for estate planning attorneys, developing timely and cutting edge techniques to address estate planning trends and changes in the laws related to estate planning. David resides in Watkinsville with his wife, Heather, and their children.

                                                                                       Daniel Goeckel

Daniel Goeckel is an estate planning and tax attorney serving clients in Athens, Georgia and the surrounding northeast Georgia area. In addition to estate planning and tax law, Daniel also assists clients with probate and trust administration, Employee Retention Credit claims, and general business formation and business agreements.

Daniel has three years of experience in estate planning and tax law. He graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2020 and from the University of Florida Levin College of Law with an LL.M. in Taxation in 2021. He worked in the business tax group of Deloitte Tax for several years before joining C. David Rowe, P.C. Daniel is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and a Registered Neutral with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution.

While attending the University of Georgia School of Law, Daniel received the CALI Award for International Taxation, the Attorneys Title Guaranty Award for Excellence in the Study of Real Estate Law, and the Edward J. Henning Award for Excellence in Dispute Resolution. While attending the University of Florida Levin College of Law for his LL.M. in Taxation, Daniel was a research assistant for Professor Yariv Brauder and wrote a seminar paper on Tax-Free Reorganization for S-Corporations.

Daniel resides in Athens with his two golden retriever mixes. He enjoys playing pickleball and golf during his free time. He attends Athens Church and is active in the church’s community groups.
